Last month of March, we learned about Ireland and some important traditions in this country.
We used our map skills to locate Ireland on a world map. Ireland is a small island close to England. We also located other English speaking countries such as: United States of America and Australia.
We identified some of the most important symbols in Irish tradition by watching a power point presentation:
We also celebrated Saint Patrick´s Day. This is the most important day in Ireland to honour irish culture and traditions.
These are some of the activities we carried out during the week:
All the children came to school wearing green clothes on Saint Patrick´s day.
We cut out and pasted different parts to make a leprechaun´s hat.
